Richard Ampa Nasima: an Assistant Lecturer in the Faculty of Economics and Management Studies at the Université Officielle de Bukavu (UOB)

BEBUC scholar since 2014 and Tutor of the BEBUC scholars in Bukavu since October 2018, he obtained his bachelor degree in Public Economics in 2015 with great distinction (84%). 

As a result, he was awarded a master scholarship and successfully completed his master studies in Accounting and Finance at the University of Makerere, Uganda, with a cumulative GPA of 4.62/5 (= 92.4%). 

 

In the final year of his master studies, he conducted a research on “Transparency and Accountability among Public Sector Entities in Bukavu (East of DRC)”. 

In August 2019, he brilliantly passed the first screening of the Japanese Ministry of Education, Sports, Culture and Technology (MEXT) Scholarship conducted at the Embassy of Japan in Kinshasa (DRC). 

In February 2020, he was successfully selected for the MEXT Scholarship to pursue his postgraduate program (MSc and PhD) in Economic Engineering at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan. He has started his program in May 2020.
